Alpha Automotive Rallies Over 600 Royal Enfield Riders for Down Syndrome Awareness and Specialized School Support

KATHMANDU, Nepal — Alpha Automotive Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Royal Enfield in Nepal, hosted its annual “One Ride” initiative, uniting hundreds of motorcyclists to raise public awareness and funds for Down Syndrome education and specialized infrastructure.

The Kathmandu leg of the nationwide event saw over 600 Royal Enfield riders assemble at Pragya Bhawan, Kamaladi, before embarking on a scenic group ride through the valley, concluding at the Best Western Plus Godawari Resort. Parallel rides organized across 22 dealer network locations brought the total nationwide participation to more than 1,500 riders.

Upon arrival at the Best Western Plus Godawari Resort, attendees were greeted with a cultural performance by children from the Down Syndrome Association Nepal, whose dance routine highlighted the event’s core focus on inclusion and empowerment.

To support long-term educational infrastructure, Alpha Automotive presented a donation of NPR 200,000 to the Down Syndrome Association Nepal. The contribution is dedicated toward ongoing public awareness efforts and the construction of a specialized school designed to serve children with Down Syndrome.

“Riding should not be limited merely to motorcycles and journeys; it must be connected with social responsibility and active community engagement,” said Meghraj Poudel, Director of Alpha Automotive Pvt. Ltd., during the formal presentation.

Accepting the donation on behalf of the organization, President Ramesh Tamang and Vice President Dr. Prabha Mainali expressed their gratitude to Alpha Automotive and the Royal Enfield riding community for using their platform to champion social inclusion and educational access.
